There is making plans based on judgment, and there is making plans based on clear action.
You can make plans all you want. As long as you are following the lead of your judging habit, your plans are guaranteed to fizzle. That’s because life is guaranteed to change.
There’s no mystery. When you make your plans dependent on things that change, you get disappointed. Your judgments point you in one direction. Then when circumstances change, they point you in another. You’re always playing catchup, and never actually get there. Your life feels like a wild goose chase.
You can try to manipulate things to match your plans, but change never stops. To be alive means to change. You are changing all the time, too, in your attitudes, interests, and outlook. So, now you’re making plans based on external things that constantly change, and your own constantly changing needs. You cannot win trying to outduel life.
But you don’t need to. When you’re experiencing unfiltered reality all the answers reveal themselves. You just can’t hear them if you’re busy judging.
There’s no mystery here. Without judgment clouding your vision, you take in the situation as it is. You see it clearly. You don’t add to the situation with your judgments. When the situation in front of you is clear, any action that comes to you is clear. That is clear action.
Make plans based on clear action. But don’t force it, because then you’re driven by your judging habit again. Clear action cannot be forced, because it’s not you who’s generating direction. You’re following life’s direction. Life is clear in everything it does. Align yourself with life to be you.
How clear are you?
